Almost 1 Year since Lapband Surgery!!

Hey everybody! I haven't been on here in a while (mainly because for the life of me, I couldnt figure out the new log on thing and I finally got in!). Let me update you on my progress. I had surgery on 1/12/05 and I have lost 110 pounds already. Im not even a year out of surgery yet. I have went from 275 pounds to 165. I am so proud of myself. I am now wearing a size 6 clothes all the way from a size 20-22. I am going to be having my plastic surgeries in February. I am going to have an extended abdomoplasty, and also having breast implants put in (I lost my whole chest with this weightloss. Im wearing a 34b now. Come on, I need some help in that department now). Then about 3-4 weeks after that, Im having my arms and thighs fixed. I can't wait to see the results. It's gonna be a very painful and expensive experience but I will feel so much better once all this fat gets cut off. LOL. For anybody who is doubting or questioning the lapband system, please think hard about it. It is the greatest invention ever created and yes you have to work with it but it can be done and you will not have one regret about it. Hi Angela Thanks so so much for the update. This is exactly what I needed to hear right now. Feeling kind of discouraged today. I feel like I will never get this weight off, plus I only been banded since 11-23-05. Sometimes I wish I went with the RNY but you know what, I'm happy with the decision I made, especially when thoughtful people like you posted success stories like this one.
