It seems like it is holding more and more. I ate a whole McD's sausage biscuit this morning. Several months ago, I could eat only a half. I have noticed also that my weight loss has stopped right around the time that it seems my belly can hold a little more. I did loose a total of 133lbs. After Christmas I am going to try the no carb thing to just start my weight loss again, and of course work out a little harder. I am at 5'9" and 183 right now, I would like to get down to 165. Well take care! Kimberly

glad to hear I am not the only one who can eat alittle more. This afternoon I had part of a panni form Penera bread, I was able to eat a little more then a third of it. 6 months ago eating any of it would have been hard. I do not want to try the no carbs thing, I really think fruits and vegis are so improtant to health. But after suday I will not have bread and non fruit or vegi carbs. Not so much because I have not been losing weight, I still am, slower but losing. But because I do not like the way I feel when I have them. Unfortuntly this time of year, that seems like all that is around. It makes me fear of falling back into bad habbits. Especialy when I say things like after Christmas this is going to stop. Anywho Jenn

Mee too...after almost a 1 year I can eat sort of a normal portion. For instance I had a piece of Sole (fish) about a 5 oz portion and a small salad with lettuce and cucumbers and finished that no problem. But I had surger on the 13th of Dec and my sugeon found something called a BLIND POCKET !!! So now I know why I was able to eat sooo much more that I thought I should. Now it is aobut 1.5 wks after surgery and I had to stay on phase 1 food until yesterday. Boy oh boy...back to just a few tables spoons of food. So I think the days of eatingmore are gone for me for a while as my tummy learns to deal with only one pouch now. Oh well maybe I can get that last 22 lbs off now !! Kiva 369/217/195 22 lbs to goal !!

OMGoodness.... mine can hold way more than ya'll! Of course I had a general surgeon so I did not have the lengthy liquids/softs/progressive eating phase like everyone else. I was eating chicken by week two. So I am fairly sure that has something to do with it! I still measure my food so I make sure I eat no more than 3/4 - 1 cup at a time. However I know from doing a "cottage cheese test" that I can eat almost two cups of non-dense food in about 15-20 minutes! EEK! So I am really strick with measuring my food. However, I do eat 4 or 5 times a day when I have heavy workout schedules. Or I eat 3-4 times and get in a protein drink. Depends on the calorie burning level for the day of course! Sometimes I get worried but my trainer and nutritionist both agree that I am doing fine! Of course even though I am not "at goal" I DO NOT want to lose anymore, I am thin enough and do not want to look sickly! KWIM?! These were my worries as well. I was able to eat more about three months ago. Talked to my surgeon. He stated that our stomaches are working the way they are supposed to. They efficiently empty out quicker, therefore make more room and we can eat more. Talk to your surgeon.
