Food???
Hi my January family!!! How are we? I can not even believe that we are near one year already where did the time go??
My question is does anyone else feel like they have no appeal for food? I get hungary but nothing at all even sounds remotely good to me. I have circled the grocery store for over an hour and nothing even looks good. Granted I know our whole relationship with food changes but usually you can find something that sounds tasty.
I was just curious what you thought about this. Thanks for all of your comments!

I completly agree. Just give me a protein shake and let me get on with my day. I am worried about the long term effect of all of this on my family also, they eat much more "junk food" than I let them have before, lots and lots of frozen foods, chicken patties, fries, pizza, etc.

Im glad Im not the only one. Man, I get so tired of the DH asking me what I want to eat. Just makes me want to AAARRRRGGGGHHHH!!! Then he gets agrivated because I dont have a clue. Men!..or Man in this case. Dont jump on me guys lol...just from my perspective...and we all know that a persons perspective is their own reality LOL!
I usually end up eating just whatever everyone else wants as long as its not too fatty or sweet. Once in a great while Ill get a craving for something in particular...like corn...mmmmm i cant seem to get enough. Not the best choices, but if I have to eat something, at least its not a cookie.

My desire for foods varies....some days I could care less about what I eat and only eat because I have to and other days I'm obsessed about what I can have that's legal or won't make me sick. It's that time of the month and yesterday was a horrible food day....all I wanted to do was snack and pick and I ended up eating too much by the end of the day. Today I hardly have any appetite....go figure.
Like Becki, I feel bad for my husband because I hardly cook anymore and he mainly eats frozen meals and takeout. Occassionally I'll get a craving for something and try to have that food in a more legal way....example last week I was craving a steak hoagie, so I cooked the chipped steak meat and added peppers, onions, sauce & cheese. Put hubby's on hoagie rolls but ate mine without the bread. It gave me the taste I was craving without all the carbs.

Michelle, I feel the same way too. It's very hard for me to find something that sounds appealing and I end up settling for cottage cheese usually, LOL. Going out to eat is really hard too b/c nothing on the menu seems to sound good to me or fit the bill for what I need. I tend to eat alot of the same things over and over.
