Congrats on getting plastics done. I have heard that it does take off some considerable amount of weight. I am too chicken to have it done so I am always impressed by those who take the venture. Congrats on your success so far. Thanks for sharing

Hey Mitzi great post by the way! Everyone is doing so great! 1) I'm down 139 lbs....boy thats a whole person! 2) 10 to my orignal goal but it also keeps changing 3)Not sure try not to count around 1000 4)usually 4 times a week but I find when I'm loosing that if I work out my body holds on to the weight. I have been not so good at getting my water in now that it's colder out. Good luck to us!! Michelle

Hi Michelle, I too keep changing my goal. Everytime I hit a goal weight I think to my self I can stand to loose 10 more. It's strange. Like I guess I just want to see how low I can go. I am nervous thought that I will neve be satisfied. Also, my body holds onto the weight too if I am excercising too much. I know muscle weighs more than fat but when stepping on the scale I get obsessed with the numbers. Thanks for sharing. It's nice to know there are others out there I have these things in common with. 302/160/155 -142

Oh yes I weigh myself every morning. I don't flip out or anything but there are days where I get mad at myself if I go carb happy and gain 2-3 lbs over night. Then it takes me like two weeks sometimes just to get those lbs. back off and back on track. So your not the only one who is obsessive...I can not decide if I want to shoot for 190 or 180. I guess I will decide when I get to 190.

Hi Mitzi!! l. I started out on January 10, 2005 at 261 pounds, and have lost 103 pounds. I currently weigh 158 pounds but have been on a plateau for 2 weeks. 2. I need to lose 30-35 more pounds to reach my personal goal of 120-125 pounds. I am only 5 feet tall. Actually, I think I should actually weigh more like 110-115 pounds. 3. I eat approx. 500-600 calories per day. 4. I was doing the treadmill at home every other day for about 1 hour. But I have recently joined 24 Hour Fitness and try to workout every morning for about 1-1/2 hours. I really need to lose these last 30-35 pounds!! Congratulations to everyone!!! You are all doing awesome with your weight loss!!!

Hi Pat, thanks for responding. I always feel an extra attachement to you because you are not only from Hawaii but also had surgery the exact same day I did. Thanks for responding. Hugs

I've lost 144.5 lbs., goal is about another 53, and I'm right around 1000 calories I think, like everybody else I'm not really keeping track as much as watching what & how much. I'm on the treadmill & ab lounger 4-5 x wk. and I just joined a gym today to start trying to tighten up and build muscle before time for plastics. So glad to read everybodies great progress reports. This is such an adventure....

1) How much have you lost so far: 107 pounds 2) How much until you hit goal: 4 more until my surgeons goal but I think I would like to loose another 10 on top of that, I will have to see when I get there. 3) How many calories are you eating now daily: I don't count calories everyday. I only check my calories every once in a while. But for the most part about 1200 a day. 4) How much do you excercise: I was going to the gym 5 days a week but I am now at about 3 days a week. I usually do the Eliptical for 45 min. and then the treadmil for between 15-30 min, this includes me running about 1 mile to 1 1/2 miles. I also do the weights about twice a week. It seems as though everyone is doing great!!! Becky P. 271/164/160
