It is a mental struggle more than anything. I try not to think about getting up everyday at 5:05 am to walk but I remember Oprah saying that if she would build in exercise everyday with her busy life then I could do the same. The step class is just plain fun. I get to dance around to music and talk to some interesting people. Plus it is at my gym at work so getting there is hassle free. Thanks for the words of encouragment. I do not know anyone (beyond the casual person at the support meeting that I have not been to in 8 months) who has had this surgery so I sometimes think I am all alone. That is why I like to read these boards everyday, nice to read about others who are going through the same things. Thanks again. Kathy

This sounds fun! 1) I have lost 121 Lbs 2) around 30 lbs , until my goal 3) I eat between 1100 and 1300 calories a day 4) Excercise treadmill once in a while. I have every intention on the excercise bit, but am terrible at actually doing it. I promise to get better in that department. Rhonda 312/191/155?

Boy, I had to laugh when I read your response because yesterday I also had every intention in excercising. I even put on my workout outfit. Yet, never got to working out. Just walked around in it all day. Too funny, I need to get more motivated to excercise.

Since Surgery I have lost 97 lbs. or 118 lbs if you include the pre-surgery weightloss. I have been a slow loser. I eat about 1100 to 1200 calories per day, but don't count regularly. I exercise 3 to 4 times per week. My goal is to lose another 56 lbs. My surgeons goal is another 36 lbs. At this point I would be happy with either. It is just been going so dang slow!!! 334/313/216/160???

1) How much have you lost so far - 135 lbs 2) How much until you hit goal - 36 lbs to my personal goal 3) How many calories are you eating now daily - I do not count calories but try to eat a normal well balanced diet. 4) How much do you excercise - never enough, but typically 30 mins daily with weight workouts every other day. But this is only when I am in the US. I Travel a lot and sometimes I do not have access to a gym. So all I can do is walk. Kiva 369 / 234 / 199
