Well today I had my consult with Dr. King (Plastic Surgeon). I was very impressed with him and his staff. Hopefully in Jan I can remove all this excess skin. His office manager said January looks good and it will definately be on a Monday as I will be in the OR for the full day. They are submitting to my insurance for a Tummy Tuck. I am upgrading to a Belt Lipectomy. So here are the totals with and without the insuance. I will be having a Belt Lipectomy, Bilateral mastopexy and bilateral brachioplasty. Without insurance total 17,852. With insurance covering the plain tummy tuck and me upgrading it will be 14,982. So there it is. Arms wings, stomach, butt, outer thighs, mounds area and breasts lifted. He recommended that I do NOT do implants as my breasts are just saggy and he feels that with a lift and making them perky again I will have a full B-C cup without the implants and will be well proportioned with my frame. I was happy to hear that and agree with him. He will do it all in one long surgery. As for the inner thighs, he will not do that with everything else as it will be to much swelling around the pubic area. However he said some of that will pull up with the belt lipectomy and I should wait and see how everything looks after the surgery and the swelling is done. If I still want to do the thighs it can be done at a lter date. So I will hope that they will look ok and I won't need more work. I am so excited and with or without the small amount my insurance may or may not cover I am going for it. I have met several people who have had him and have had amazing results.

Congrats on your upcoming surgery. I am meeting with a plastic surgeon in my area on the 21st. I cannot afford to have alot of work done although I wish I could. I am just going with the tummy tuck and hopefully the thigh lift if my insurance will cover it. Congrats again. I cant wait to see the new you Suzanne 300/171/150

How wonderful. I was told I had to wait until my weight stablized. Which may be 20 months out. Did your surgeon recommend that?

I saw my GB Surgeon on 7/15. I was at 155 then. He said Well are you ready for plastics? I told him no. When I went home and thought about it I thought I may just want to start that process now afterall. Not knowing how long it would all take. Well the hernia had been bothering me a lot and I thought what if I had to have an emergency hernia repair? I was hoping that combining the hernia with PS might save me some $$. So the next day I called and said I was ready. He said he would send my file info to the PS I had selected. I called and got an appointment for 11/4 so I was glad I called since it was so long for the appointment. So now it looks like Jan or Feb. I think he was ok with starting the process now since I was so close to goal. I am so very excited and anxious for the next step. HUGS Mary
