HI Lorna, I've eaten chinese food with no troubles. I just stay away from the rice because it will just swell up it. Chinese is great because they offer such a variety of dishes that are healthy for us. So enjoy! Deanna

I've eaten Chinese food with no trouble. I just stick with the meat and veggies from the dishes. I try to avoid rice and dishes with thick, sugary sauces like sesame chicken. Enjoy! Jamie LAP RNY 1/21/05 -109 lbs. 253/144/130

Hi totally agree with the other girls. I ate it one time, and ate rice, and boy did I get sick afterwards. As long as I stay away from rice all is good. Also, watch the sugary sauces. Guten Aben, Kimberly King

I had it once, it was ok, upset my tummy a bit, but not to bad. Now unlike the others I can eat rice just fine. I do not eat it often and when I do it is only a bite or two, enough to satisfy the craving for it. Jenn 352/230/150

I used to frequent this local buffet pre-op...kinda like Norm frequented the Cheer's bar, lol. Well...I still stop in, but now it's for mostly Wonton soup broth and maybe one dumpling. I add to that the chicken and veg mix...tah-dah...Chinese food satisfaction! The soup is also great for getting down the fluids..something I'm still not doing enough of *sigh*. They make lots of healthy alternatives..steamed fish/veg..etc, so I feel safe eating there still. The heavy, fried stuff I used to chow down on is no longer interesting to me...guess getting sick on it a few times cured me of that fixation.
