NOT THE SIZE I THINK I SHOULD BE!!!!
Heather, Don't worry you are doing great!! As everyone has said we are all different and our bodies are shaped different. I just hit my 8 month mark today and am at 100.5 pounds lost. I started at 271 and I am now 170.5. You are doing very good. I am in size 14 and still some size 16's.
Keep doing what you are and it will happen for you.
Take care and be proud of yourself for what you have done so far!!!

Heather Sweety,
Don't feel bad because truly you are doing wonderful and everyone loses at different rates. The important thing is that you are losing. I have gone from 299 to 189 and I too am wearing a size 14. Honestly, I am not built to be a size 6, 8, or 10. I love being the curvy woman that I am and I want to get down down to about a size 12. I have been focusing more on toning and being healthy.
I said all of that just to say, do what is healthiest for you and what makes you look and feel best. You may take a look at yourself in the mirror and find that you like what you see.

It's so hard not to compare!! I started at 266 and am now at 178 (88 pounds) and am in a comfortable size 12. Now the funny part is, before I had kids, I got into a size 12 and weighed 210!!
Everyone's body is different. Especially after kids. I haven't lost a single pound since school started back, but I'm still shrinking thanks to my Bodypump class at the gym.
Keep your head up, girl! You're doing great!

Heather,
You're doing fine sweetie! I started out at a similar weight and sizes (was 255 day of surgery and wearing 26/28 and 3XL) and am now in a size 14. I know how you feel and some days get down because I come here and see other people being in much smaller sizes but I have to remind myself that I'm older, have been obese since the age of 7, have polycystic ovary syndrome and carried a lot of belly fat for MANY years and my exercise regimine is not as strict or strenuous as some others.
Keep doing what you're doing and enjoy yourself along the journey. Take care!
