I just found this message board
I think it's cool to check in with other people who had their surgery the same month I did.
I've lost 100 pounds so far, which I am very happy with, although since I started at a higher weight (403), I probably should have lost more by now.
I'm still struggling to learn to change my eating habits, although I think I'm doing much better.
I am getting more into exercise since my knees aren't hurting as much anymore. I bought a pedometer and am walking 10,000 steps a day, 4 days a week. I'm finding I'm really enjoying it very much and sometimes am just so amazed that I can do so much walking now without being in pain.
Things are so much better with this loss of 100 pounds, I'm excited to see how much better it's going to be with the next 100 pounds.

Hi Mary Ann: Welcome to this board. I don't post often, but read almost daily. I am a slow loser, having only lost 62 lbs, starting out at 262 but agree, doesn't it feel wonderful to be so much lighter? I am sooo close to being under 200 for the first time since I was 20 (38 years ago). It is really exciting. I just started exercising for the first time since surgery, and hopefully that will help. I am bad at that. But anyway, keep on posting and good luck.
