8 MONTH PLATEAU

HI EVERYONE! I HAVENT EVER POSTED ON HERE JUST READ. I AM AT A PLATEAU FOR 6 WEEKS NOW....HELP!!!!!! 1/4/05 WAS MY SURGERY DATE, I HAVE LOST 78 LBS. STARTING WEIGHT WAS 287..I AM VERY GREATFUL FOR WHAT I HAVE ACCOMPLISHED BUT GETTING DISCOURAGED! ANY IDEALS?

Yep, what Victoria said! Increase calories, exercize, water and protein to get your metabolism geared up. I had a month stall about three months out and thought it was all over, but after doing all of the above, I lost a lot of weight really fast. I really keep an eye on my calories to be sure I am doing more than the 500 to 800 calories I only want to eat! Good luck and, Hugs! Jacqui 288/182.5/150

THANK YOU GIRLS! I NEED TO LOG EVERYTHING I AM EATING. I KNOW I HAVE A PROBLEM WITH TOO MANY CARBS. AND OH GOSH MY TREAD MILL IS ACTING FUNNY, SO I NEED TO HAVE HUBBY LOOK AT IT TONIGHT. I DO GOOD WITH MY WATER.THATS ALL I DRINK ALL DAY OTHER THAN 2 CUPS OF COFFEE IN MORNING. DO I HAVE ONLY GOTTEN SICK ONCE AND I MADE MYSELF BECAUSE SOMETHING WAS STUCK. DO YOU GIRLS GET SICK? ANYWAYS TALK TO YOU GIRLS LATER!

Hi Sandy, Ditto what everyones else has suggested, also reduce the sodium intake to as low as possible.

Hello, I have been having the same problem and I came accross this article in Obesity Help magazine.
