OT: Star Jones

Star has denied having WLS but is there anyone out there that thinks she might have had it?? I was watching the View today and her arms looked really kind of flabby like mine... And she is really thin on top like I am since I had the surgery. Kind of like what my friends that are WLS patients kind of look like too. I think she had it and just wants to deny it. You think like I do... I have been thinking that for a while... She got thin quite fast if you ask me... I have worked out until I couldn't stand it and never looked that good... Surgery was the answer for me and I feel great.... And girl you look great!!

I just dont see the problem with hiding it. Other celebrities have admited it. I mean Carnie Wilson, Roseanne Barr, one of the guys from the sopranos, and many others I just cant think of them today. I used to be cautious about who I told but I am so proud now. I am so thrilled and many people are proud of me as well. I only find that alot of people who make negative comments are the ones that are older and dont believe in it or people who are jealous. Just my 2 cents.

You are not the only one who thinks she had the surgery. She has lost so much so fast... it certainly looks like "one of us." But she is a secretive person by nature, look how long she hid her hubby from the world! LOL! I thought so too. Only I thought It was in the open that she had it.. but.. then again I also thought Missy Eliot had it done a few yrs ago too.

I was kind of wondering about Missy Elliot too. She seems to have lost a bunch of weight really fast. It is so interesting to me how we can see signs now since we have had surgery.

I think she's kinda an odd duck, myself... I saw on a couple of celebrity shows where they were talking about WLS and how the stars kept trim and fit, and her name was mentioned in the celebrity lineup as having had the surgery. Who knows, maybe someone was mean and negative to her, giving credit to the surgery for her weight loss and not to the person who did all the hard work! However she accomplished her weight loss (WLS or not), BRAVO to her for doing it!!!! Cuz, we all know how dang hard it is, regardless of how you do it!

I think she is ashamed of the fact! I believe she does not want to admit that she had it because to her maybe she feels like a failure and does not want to admit she could not control her eating?? I would be the first to admit that yes I love food and enjoy eating but that I could not control my eating and the only thing that saved me was WLS!

I think star had it too because in her face she looks too strange sometimes like I noticed a lot of us look when our wieght loss hasn't caught up with our face yet (like her face is just hanging out there). You guys might hate me for saying this but I think Oprah had some help too this is the longest she has ever kept the weight off.

I totally agree, I saw one of her shows before she got married and they were making some type of mixed drinks(with sugar) in blenders and she put the cup up to her mouth but it looked like she didn't drink because it was too quick. Right then I assumend she was one of us!!! I think Oprah had it tooooo, she tried so many different diets, cooks and exercises in the past and just kept putting it back on. We know how were all were previously to this surgery... I'm just happy that these two women were able to get healthier, it really doesn't matter how they did it but it would be nice if people in their position would openly talk about it so that they could help to save more lives.
