I am about 35 pounds from my goal, and I know I have lost fast. I have worked my @## off to get here though. How many of us are actually thinking about our TTs now?? When I met with my Dr last month I mentioned I would like to have it before the end of the year since I have already met my deductibles for this year and it would not cost me hardly anything and I have to lose 20 more pounds by the time I meet him in November. For the first time I am having doubts about meeting that goal. I really want to have it before the year is up. How are the arms and thighs??? How is everyone doing on those?? Just thought I would ask see where everyone else is. Suzanne 300/185/150

I still have a ways to go, but I am certainly considering plastics. I am very good about exercise and strength training (4-5 days per week). There is no amount of exercise that will get rid of the skin. For me my upper thighs and inner thighs bother me, and my arms and breasts and tummy. I have heard it is hard to get insurance approval for arms and thighs. Good luck and keep us posted. Margo

Someone I met at a support group said it is a good idea to wait until 18 months out. She stated that at about that time your body shifts and you will want to make sure the tummy tuck is done after that shift. Jenn

Well, because of a rather large incisional hernia, I am having surgery on Friday and fingers crossed it looks like they are going to do the tummy tuck also. I have about the same amount left to loose and the doc thinks it will be fine to go ahead and do it. So we will see. I will let you know how it goes. Talk to you later, Kimberly

Oh I am definitly considering platics. However I am waiting til I am a year out. I am also in the middle of finishing up my degree and moving and trying to get a job... so I am gonna have to wait til I get settled into my job first. Especially since I will have to go to some sort of law enforcement academy and that will require lots of physical strength and stamina. SO plastics has to wait. I want a total body lift! LOL! I need my arms done and a "braplasty" to remove the skin from the area below my armpits (bra band area)... that skin gets irritated when I wear a balistic vest REALLY BAD! I NEED TITS! I have NOTHING now. I have to wear padded bras and rubber falsies everyday, no joke! I went from a full C to barely an A! I want a belt cut tummy tuck, and I also want to have my thighs lifted, I can grab whole handfulls of skin and pull it up like a sock! Hubby pointed out that I might want to consider getting my eyes done b/c now I have big hoods over my eyes so I always look mad or tired. So all in all, I am gonna be expensive! LOL! I went for my yearly with my gyn and had him go ahead and start documenting my problems (back pain, neck pain, yeast-type infections under skin folds) so that I will have well over 6 months of documentation by the time I want to get a TT and breast lift next summer. I've also heard about waiting till you are 18 months out, but I'm going to do it in the summer because I work in a school, not because "they" say so. Good luck to all of us! Amanda 266/178/147
