Still finding protein drinks to be a "gag" factor in your daily regimen??? Here are some of the things that I do to help me to get my drinks in, and enjoy them! {I don't work for the companies, nor do I get any specials from them!} I absolutely hated the taste and smell of all protein drinks early out, even the Atkins choclate ones... Bleccchhh! SO, after some sample os the Nectar products and a little help from my lil' sisiter, I figured out how to : increase the protein value make the drinks more palatable [for me] where to get the large 2.12 lb containers for less money! Nectar Fuzzy Navel Protein powder - 23gms protein per one scoop. Put 8 ounces of 1% milk [ what my nutritionist recommended] into a blender. Add two ice cubes. Add one and one half scoops of protein powder. Add 1 ounce of peach nectar [found in the hispanic sections of stores... probalby Badia or Goya brand] to the blender. Add a small piece of banana if wanted. Blend until ice is finely crushed and pour over some ice cubes in a glass. Sip through a Mickey Mouse straw for enjoyment factor! Caribbean Cooler Protein powder - 23gms protein per one scoop. Add mil**** cubes and protein powder as above to blender. Add 1 tsp. lite, dry coconut milk {also in the Hispanic section] and 1 ounce lite pineapple juice to the blender. Continue as before. WHite Chocolate Stawberry Protein powder - 20gms per one scoop. This one has a bit of fat, carbs and sugars, fibrer and a higher calorie count so, I use it sparingly as a treat! Add mil**** cubes and protein powder to blender. Add 2 or 3 large, frozen unsweetened strawberries. Blend until smooth and the ice is finely crushed. Add a small piece of Banana if wanted.Pour over ice cubes in tall glass and sip through your Mickey straw! I have been able to really increase my protein intake with these recipies and find that if I eat my 5 other meald/snacks daily, including a small amount of carbs; that I am consistently losing weight and inches! Hope this helps! Hugs! Jacqui 288/183.0/150 Only 33 pounds to my goal!!!

Hi - I am going to try some of your recipes. I have not found any shake that I like. However, I do get 20 grams per day by taking Unjury or Procel unflavored and mixing it with my yogurt for breakfast. The protein plus the yogurt gives me about 30 grams of protein for the meal. Lynne

I used Unjury in the early days too and mixed it with fruit juice and water. It just didn't make me happy to have to drink it! Let me know how you like the recipies Lynne. Hugs! Jacqui

Hello and huggs, well I found the perfect resolution to my problems with protein and the flavor. I am using a product called Anywhey. Its a tasteless powder that you can add to your foods. I however find it great when I add it to my crystal light classic orange with ice and tastes like an orange smoothy. Its very good. You can bake with this protein, and do all kinds of wonderful things and not even notice its protein. Good luck!
