Roll call January babies! How much weight have you lost?
Congratulations on your weight loss!
I had my surgery on January 11, 2005
since surgery I have lost 101 lb.
since seeing my surgeon I have lost 117 lb.
Since I have started exercising regularly the WL has slowed down....they tell me muscle weighs more than fat. But I have still losing inches...can tell in my clothes.

Yes it is slowing down! I have been struggling over a month now...Up....down....up...down....2 pounds here and 3 or 4 pounds up there. LOL...It is so frustrating....Just think of what you have accomplished up to this point girl!!! As with anything good....It takes time..Sit back and think of those 81 pounds that are no longer a part of you! Hang in there...My thoughts and prayers are with you.

I have lost 78 pounds since my surgery on January 31. It has really slowed down to a crawl--I can go weeks without losing, only to finally drop a pound or two, with weeks of not losing to follow. I think I don't mind that it has slowed down because my clothes last longer and my skin is starting to droop a bit, but I worry that I might not lose all that I would like to. If someone could give me a guarantee that I would lose all of it, I would be content to go slowly.

Deb,
I have lost a total of 92 pounds as of today, which is 7 months from my surgery date. I have been at this same weight since Tuesday a week ago. I think it has slowed down but that is okay I know that I will get to my goal eventually. I have upped the amount of food I take in so I am sure that has alot to do with the slow down. My friend had the same surgeon and he had told her at 6 months that she needed to increase the 1/2 cup she was eating to a cup. So I did this on my own although I am not at a cup yet I am working my way up to it. I see my surgeon today because I didn't get a 6 month appt. Thanks TRI-WEST for taking so long in getting my appt. approved!!
Take care everyone!!
