It finally happen! I am under 200lbs for the first time since 1998 (and that only lasted about 5 days before I caved in on my latest diet craze). It seems like the last few weeks have been agony, the weight just did not want to leave, but this past week (I only weigh myself on Sunday mornings) I lost a big whopping 6lbs (my surgery was 1/12/05). Feeling so good and happy that it is a little scary. I went to the mall yesterday and bought two new outfits to celebrate. I now am wearing size 14 misses pants and large shirt (down from a 28W pants and 3x shirts). I even tried on a pair of 12 pants just for laughs and they were only slightly tight but did show more of my "hanging" stomache then I am comfortable with. Thanks for listening and thanks for being there for me to share my joy with. Most of the people in my life have no experience with weight issues and even though they are super supportive, they just don't get it. Have a great day. Kathy 333/316/196/155

Congrats on being in 1derland. I am so happy for you. It is such a remarkable feeling. I hit it in July and was so elated for myself. I am down from a size 26/28 and size 3X to a size 14 on top and 16 on the bottom. I have a problem with big hips. I look forward to hearing more about your weight loss. It always seemed to take the longest from 210 to 199 because I was looking so forward to being in the 100s. Suzanne 300/190/150

Oh Kathy- That is 1derful news! WHOO-HOO!!! Keep up all of the hard work and keep your optimism strong girl! One thing that I use to help keep that extra skin in check when I am buying clothes is a compression garmet from Wa-Mart, it is like $10 and it has a very high waist with a row of bra type of hooks so that getting into and out of it is fairly easy. It has stays in it to help keep the garment from rolling as well! It takes some getting used to if you are not used to tight fitting clothing, but it helps smooth the lines under clothing!
