Run Forrest Run!!!
Oh Kim, I bet that is a pain in the arse! Dang! Well at least you should not have to fight the insurence company too hard. There is no way my insurence is gonna pay, I am gonna have to go out of pocket unless I manage to swing a great job in the next 6 months that will have better insurence. I dread having to put on a bullet proof vest again, when I was chuncky it rubbed my arms raw, now with this skin....*shudder*
Thanks for the kinds remarks. You just keep on walking girl! Do what you gotta do right?!

I wi**** would be easy to get approval for PS but from what I keep being told my insurance doesn't cover PS unless it is medically necessary. So far the hanging skin hasn't given me any problems except smacking around when I attempt to run. I am going to start doing crunches hopefully that will help some.
Keep running!!
Kim

Jamie, Okay lady you inspired me. At the gym today I walked for a mile then I ran/jogged for one mile. I also walked another mile. Well when I was running I did a mile straight in 13 min. I am so excited!!!!! It has been forever, and I mean forever, since I have been able to do that. I did the whole 3 miles in 47 min.
Thanks for the inspiration!!!!! I kept thinking to myself that, I can do it!!
Thanks again!!
Becky P.

AND WHERE WAS YOUR INHALER???!!!!!! Shame on you! You know my doctor told me I could actually die from an asthma attack if it were severe, but I never thought it could happen to me. Then while we were living in St. Louis (a VERY polluted city) I had a bad one. I had left my inhaler at home in another purse and I knew we would not make it back in time because I could feel myself closing down. So my hubby rushed me in the nearset ER clinic and they put me on a nebulizer while giving me a shot of meds. Thank God. They ER doc said my lungs were totally closed when I came in, and another MINUTE would have been fatal.
I remember to this day how that felt. I ALWAYS have my inhaler with me (even though I haven't had an asthma attack since the hospital one after surgery.) I take preventitive meds. religiously (crushed up and nasty tasting) and see my pulmonologist every 6 months. I almost bought the farm in the hospital after surgery because MIKE, the respitory therapist from Hell, never gave me my breathing treatment. He kept signing in to do it, but never actually came in my room.
I hope they fired him.
