I'm Back
Well let me try and make a long story short on why I haven't posted in a long time. Well in May my husband who is a soldier in the Army got seriously ill and they had to medivac him from Germany to Walter Reed in D.C. After spending several weeks in D.C. with him it was determined that they wouldn't allow him to go back to Germany, so they sent me back to get all of our household goods, vehicle, and all the clearing that needed to be done, along with resign from my position at my work. Boy what a hellacious few weeks it was. Luckily my mom came and got our three kids, so I wouldn't have that pressure on me. Well, I made it out of Germany without a total stress out, and flew into Oklahoma where my mom lives to be with the kids. The Army in the mean time decided to medically board my husband for possible medical retirement. The Army decided to give him a temporary retirement. They will eval him in one year and decide if he is fit for duty. I am so stressed. We have both lost our jobs, at least temporarily for him, but I am trying my darnest to find one. I have decided to move to where my mom is, in Midwest City, Ok. I am a Louisiana girl, but for once I want to be close to family. Needless to say, life has been hellacious, but things are slowly but surely falling into place. I have lost 100lbs, but I have been at the same weight for three weeks now. Has anyone else done that? Anyway, look forward to talking with all of you again. I have to still have hernia surgery, so if I don't have a job by next week, then I am going to schedule it for the next few weeks. Is anyone in the Ok City area? Talk to you all later.

Kimberly-
I am so sorry to hear about Hubby and having to do a OCONUS PCS all on your own. That had to suck for sure! I am glad that you were able to take it in stride and complete the move without a breakdown though. Us Army wives are entitled to a few of those per career, that is for sure!
Good luck with the house and job hunt sweetie... at least retirment pay will help things. Good luck and you all will be in my prayers!
Brightest Blessings for a Wonderful Day~
