Does anyone know how to find a personal trainer? I need some motivation in the exercise dept. and was thinking a trainer might do it. I leave in Milford, CT. Any ideas?

A lot of gyms or the local Y have trainer's on staff. If you know anyone who works out in a gym, ask them if they know anyone. Also, try the yellow pages. I had a friend who was really into athletics - she was a champion swimmer. She worked out with me for 6 months. Talk about motivating. I thought sometimes she was going to kill me. Sometimes she would push me so hard I would want to . She asked me if I had eaten breakfast yet, I told her no, and she said: Good, keep going! Good luck. Linda

I got a personal trainer through my local Y. She is pretty reasonable, and it keeps me going back. I also know that 24 hour fitness usually offers trainers as well. The Y is less intimidating for me. Good Luck. Margo
