SV!! 6 Month Post-Op visit-

Hey guys. I went for my 6 month post-op visit and Im down 70 pounds since 1/12/05. I know that Im not up to par with the majority of you guys but I had the lapband operation instead of RNY. Keep up the good work everybody!! 1/12/05 275/205/150

Great work! I had open RNY in January and I am down 65. My pace might not equal everyone one else out there but I am steadily shrinking and that is all I care about. Last night for the first time since I was 12 years old I went to the county fair and actually rode most of the rides. Forty years was a long time to wait for a simple ride on the Ferris wheel, I loved it so much I rode it twice!

Well there is definitly no "par" here these days... I love that our forum is made up of slow loosers, fast loosers, and everyone in between! Even though the majority of us had RNY, there is a significant number of banders here too, I love seeing how everyone is handling their own successes and stalls... it gives me good ideas and such encouragement!
