Hmmmm, I got my messy house blues solved Wednesday when my youngest snuck out of the house when she was spending the night with a friend. When she finally showed up at 8:15am (after I called in to work for the day) she immediatly went to work vacuuming carpets, shampooing them, laundry, dishes, washing and waxing the truck. Amazing what 13 hours of hard labor with 2 15 minute breaks for lunch and supper will do to a kid's attitude problem. Got my house spotless and haven't had a problem with her yet. Should I send her over? She's grounded for the rest of the summer so she has time to do some cleaning for others.

Thanks for the offer. My 5 year old son, Jake, (bless his little angel heart)cleaned up the living room, took out the trash, and cleaned his room, too! Seems he remembered that today was PAYDAY! He got $1.00 and immediately spent it at the dollar store down the street.
Daddy took down the gazebo because Hurricane Emily is heading this way, then he took a loooooong nap with Harry Potter.
I got a real belly laugh at your daughter's expense.
You go, girl! Crack that whip, and remember:Spare the rod; spoil the child!
