Batwings!

How can I rid myself of these ugly batwings under my arms? When I was in my 30's and lost a lot of weight, all I had to do was lots of exercises with arm weights and they were trim. But now, they won't get tight! No matter how many weights I lift. Must I consider surgery? I hear that this is very painful because we use our arms all the time. Here in the valley, it is sooo hot most of the year that everyone goes sleeveless.

I have the same problem. My wings keep waving 5 minutes after I wave my arms. I regularly exercise, and lift weights for toning, and I have developed muscles, and still have the hanging flab. I don't think it will go away without surgery. I saw an episode of Dr. 90210 or "Before and After" and they said sometimes after rapid weightloss there is no amount of exercise that will remove this skin, and surgery is the only answer. As for tank tops, I wear them anyway. I feel like I have earned that right, skin and all. You look great!

Oh my goshness! Talk about wings -- I have enough to fill an entire bat cave! I have resolved myself that reconstructive surgery is just a byproduct of WLS for me. I, too, just started wearing sleeveless and just figure my arms at the current time are a badge of honor, even though they are "eye catchers"... I guess after I get them done, the scar will also be a badge of honor... but I'll live with it, as I'm going all the way baby! ((((skinny hugs)))) wendyb

Yeah you and I are in the same bat cave sweetie! My arms a really tone and then there is this huge batwing! LOL! You can see them on most bypass patients since we lost so darn fast. Of course the younger you are the more collegen you have and the more flexible your skin is to reshaping. I have resolved myself to reconstructive surgery. The scars will be my battle wonds!
