I came across this recipe and tried it. These are really good and less expensive than protein bars. Instead of using honey, I use sugar free maple syrup. Hope you enjoy them as much as I do. Protein Power Balls 1 cup of protein powder 1 cup of peanut butter 1 cup of Old Fashioned Oats (not quick cooking kind) 1/2 cup of honey, regular or sugar free Mix it all with a mixer. Roll into balls to the size of walnuts. Store in a air tight container or zip-lock bag in the fridge. Great for a quick protein snack.

Did you use chocolate protein powder or did you use the flavorless kind? Jamie

Jamie, I tried both and I like the chocolate protein powder better, however both are good. I am going to experiment with nuts and sugar free chocolate chips next. Georgeann

yummmm. rolling it in crushed almonds, peanuts or machadamia nuts... YUM! I might try and use a berry powder just to see how it tases (this weekend) just because my favorite peanut butter was that berry jiff stuff! YUM! Thanks for sharing, I am off to expierement myself! Jamie

Hey, my husband made some last week! He uses cocoa powder for chocolate flavor, peanut butter (sugar free), and plain Any Whey protein powder because it is supposedly tasteless(actually has a bit of a vanilla flavor, I think.) He adds Splenda instead of honey. They are GOOOODDD!

Thanks for the recipe...it sounds great. You wouldn't by chance know approximately what the protein count is per ball? Thanks! Deanna
