Is anyone else runnung out of wearable clothes because they refuse to buy until they hit goal weight? I know I could get second hand stuff or exchange, but.....I want to wait for the magic ###, then go spend a small fortune on a really nice wardrobe, shoes, underwear, beauty stuff, etc. My mom has offered to buy my clothes for me when I get to goal weight. The problem is that my closet, which used to be stuffed full of clothes I could not wear, is now nearly bare! I count 10 outfits, 5 great, two o.k., and 3 that I wear only if I have nothing else clean cause I don't like them anymore. What to do? Must I go Nakey?!!!

I did not have a choice since I am in school and an avid volunteer... i need clothes! plus... all of my friends were either bigger than or smaller than me. I was unable to borrow clothes or find much that was in the resale shops. So I bought new clothes with interchangability in mind. I made sure that if I bought 8 new pieces that they all worked with each other to give me countless combinations. After they got to big for me I took them to a resale shop to try and get my money back. Of course now I am small enough to get hand me downs and loans. So I am doing that to supplement my bargain finds! Hehe... I refuse to pay full price for ANYTHING these days! Hiya Lou Ann!! Here's how I'm thinking of it, and I know it may not be the popular way to think. I DESERVE new clothes every step of the way. I made a major life changing decision to be a healthier me, and WHEN I succeed down to a new size, then it's time to buy at least one new outfit to celebrate it. Now, that's not to say I spend a ton of $$ on it, but you can find some great deals if you take time to look............think of it as exercise. I think we need to all celebrate our success, and treat ourselves every now and then. Just my opinion. XOXOXOXO Sharon @ 5'7" 289/261/189/140 Start/Surgery/Today/Goal
