Current Stats = big smile! What about you?
I just weighed in and I am down 93 lbs! The dial hadn't moved in a while and so I layed off weighing and them bam! Yeah! I am less than a month away from my six month mark and I might just hit century club by then! I won't be dissapointed if I don't (my original goal was my b-day, July 28th) but wouldn't it be nice!!
My current WOW is that yesterday I wore a cute 1x shirt (first thing in that size) and got mega compliments over and over all day long even though I was worried that it was a little small.
And for the record I am glad that I have lost a cup size - A "C" cup looks just as great at size 18/20 as a "D" cup looks at 26/28!
How are you guys and gals doing? Get in here and let me know about your progress and best WOW moments!
Have a GRRRRRREEEAAAAT Day!!!!!!!
Jenny
Good afternoon, Jenny. on your weight loss! .
I am down 99 lbs. Just waiting for that century club! This adventure has been so exciting! My oldest son is getting married in August and my second son, who is in the military, is coming home for the wedding. He has not seen me since the surgery. I won't let anyone take a picture of me to show him. My goal is that he not recognize me at the airport when I go to pick him up!.
Keep up the great job!
Linda
Hi Jenny, Congrats on the fabulous weight loss. I am just shy of 5 months post op and have lost 68 lbs. I have gone from a 26/28 to a very loose 22 in pants and from a 3X shirt to very big 2X. I am afraid to try the XL for fear of them being too small. My bra size has gone from a 42 DD to a 40D and I love it! My only problem is that 22 pants are too big, but 20's are too tight around my abdomen. This gets me really depressed. I am working up the nerve to do my Richard Simmons toning tape and the 800 crunches he has you do at the end. I know this will help the very hanging skin/fat of my abdomen.
I haven't had many WOW moments, but I feel so much better and am finding myselft doing things I haven't done in years.
HOORAY for US.

Hey Jenny,
Congrats on your progress! Sounds like we are on the same track. My surgery was 1/12/05 and I am down 92lbs, from a 26/28 (3X) to a loose 18/20 (1X). I too am still a little cautious when I put on smaller clothes. Sometimes it is hard to believe I wear the smaller size and I am just not use to clothes that show off my shape.
How are you doing on the exercise? I got the walking and cardio routine going but have not added weight resistance yet. I just joined the gym and will meeting with a personal trainer this week to get my strength training plan together.
On my sugery day I was 316lb and have been working to get under 200lbs before my 6 month anniversary, aggressive goal I know but I figured I should aim high and see how close I come. With just over 3 weeks to go I still need to lose 25lbs, I don't expect to reach the under 200lb goal but I hope to get under 215lb, that would be great!
Congratulations again on your success.
Take care.

Hi Jenny
I'm VERY happy for everyone here
So far, I'm 5mos post op (since June 13th) and I'm down 85 pounds
I'm very happy about that. I'm in misses size 18/20, and depending on size and material I can fit comfortably in a size 16/18 junior and even 12/14 sport pants and capris (don't wear those much) stretchy materials. My 18s are getting WAY too baggy. I assume, by fall semester (August 24th school starts) I should be well on my way to the century club and into sizes 14/16 jeans
I'm SO Proud of my january Family I love you all so very much and am SO SO SOOOOOOOOO excited for EVERYONE on here, no matter how much you've lost! We are ALL doing an EXCELLENT JOB!

Linda - Oh my goodness one lb away! You cannot get anymore exciting than that! I'll bet that your son won't recognize you I can't imagine seeing someone as you do normally and then minus 100 lbs!!! He is going to be amazed!
Kim - I have the same trouble with pants when I am "in between" sizes the important thing is that it will pass and you will get on the the next size. Or you can try another brand of jeans that fits differently.
Kathy - I was using a treadmill (not frequently) but today my grandfather brought me a brand new elliptical machine and I am sooooooo excited about it! And I am excited about you getting under 200 lbs soon!
Beth and Deb you guys are doing great!!!!!
Love you guys! Keep up the good work!
Jenny
