Got a phone call today from my dermatologist. The office called to remind me of my quarterly skin tag removals. I paused for a moment, asked them to hold, checked myself in the mirror, then told them to cancel me now and in the future. I DON'T HAVE SKIN TAGS ANYMORE! WOO HOO!!!!

Skin tags are little pieces of skin that rub together when you are fat, and make little tag like pieces that skick out like long moles. I had them all over my neck and under my arms. They look and feel icky; like sandpaper. The doc removes them like a wart, by freezing them off. It hurts! I used to get them off all the time, and spent $40.00 every visit! No more! I don't have the rolls of fat that causes them anymore. YAY!

Okay now you guys just freaked me out. My doc wants to remove mine and said it doesn't hurt and I said later. She cuts them off too. OW OW. Maybe I won't do it I have one under my eye and on my neck and one on my inner thigh and under my arms. I had a huge giganic one on my stomach that was removed by my surgeon when I had my colon surgery. I asked him to take it off and he did and I had stiches from that one. Thanks guys.

The freezing tags off hurts, too, but different. They spray a topical numbing spray of Lidocane on first, then they freeze off. Then they put on little bandages if they can. All is o.****il the numbing wears off. Then they sting like a BAD sunburn for two days. After that, they heal very well. I recommend getting off as many as possible all at once, and be done with it. It is SO worth it. My husband has a lot, and I wish he would have them removed. One is as big as my pinky nail, and his clothes rub and irritate it constantly. Not good.

WOW!! I hadn't noticed that mine are also reducing in number etc. What an awesome benefit! I hate the d$%^ things. And Nancy......ASK your Dr if SHE has ever had anything cut or frozen off of HER body. Jeepers.......I've gone the freeze route, though she offered to cut ('snip' I think the word was). Knowing how they hurt getting caught on clothing etc, I just couldn't imagine 'snipping'. But on a more encouraging note, it is worth the short-lived pain to get rid of them. HAppy weekend all Sheila
