Question for the losers club
Hi elena I have lost 80 pounds I do try to get my excersing in but it is hard I am alot more physical than I was 4 month ago so I cause that helps feel in some void from daily excersing things that I do now that I didn't do before surgery that help fill the excersing void walk longer ditances from parking lots. walk up and down stair several times a day. walk around my office area (warehouse) alot more a day. play with my kids alot more deep clean my house daily. My eating is still very low even though I don't dump I have problems holding anything down. I have tryed some no no foods and you know what I really don't like them anymore so that is a plus keep up your efforts and you will pull through
I'm down 93.5 and most of my exercise happens at work (I'm supervisor in a factory and my departments are spread from the front of the shop to the back). As far as what's normal, I think a lot of it has to do with where you started also. People with more to lose will probably appear to lose more faster.

Hi Elena...
I'm down 100# but have not been working out like I should... After I get my gallbladder checked out and see if it has to go, or what ever is cause me the trouble gets fixed I'm going to get back at it...... and then some...
But don't judge yourself by how anyone else is doing you just work it for yourself........ You'll be ok..... wishing you the best...

My surgery was 1-31-05 and I have lost around 63 pounds, I've been very lax on the exercise but am starting at the gym on Monday. So we will see if there is any difference. I've been able to do a lot more than I have in years, yard work, dancing etc. Just walking a little and I just started working again part-time in retail and my feet hurt soooooooooo bad. But I'm only 5ft, 1/2 inch so 63 pounds is a lot of inches off this short body. I've lost 13 inches in my waist and 6 inches in my bust and I have no butt anymore. I've always been middle heavy with small legs and no butt. I'm wearing large to xl tops and I'm wearing mediums 12-14 in cotton stretch pants and capris. I've lost a shoe size, my rings are falling off me and my wrist is down to 6 1/4 ". So I think my body is dropping inches more than weight which is okay. It'll eventually come off. My blood tests were normal at my 3 month check up but my hair is getting thinner too. I've upped my protein and will try to drink more. So even though most of us are at different stages be happy with where you are because we could have never done this with out WLS...enjoy your new life. I'm 56 and my doctors goal for me is 150, weighing in at 194 right now... but I'd like to get down to 120/125. And I will do it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (I hope)
