Good evening January surgery buddies! Today is my 4 month anniversary and to date I've lost 58 pounds (83 total counting the 25 I lost prior to surgery) and a total of 63.25 inches from all over!! And according to my BMI, I'm OVERWEIGHT and no longer Obese!!! I've been really slacking on exercise due to lots of work travel and generally being lazy, but that's changing because I've signed up to take a Latin music aerobics class one night a week and water aerobics 2 times a week. Once my husband gets back to work from being off for his bad back, I plan to join a gym. I'd like to get to 160 and know I really need to work it these next few months. Wish me luck!! How are the other January 31st postops doing? Mary Ellen 280/255/197/160

Hi Mary Ellen! Today is my four month anniversary too and I just can't believe the changes in me and my life! To date I have lost 76.5 pounds and 59". Haven't measured in awhile, but soon. My clothing sizes are changing fast also, and altho I still wear a bulky dressing and pads over my still draining incision, I can actually wear a size 16.... a bit snug, but I'm encouraged! My BMI is still obese..... I need to lose more to get to overweight, but It's coming! In 12 1/2 pounds I will have made it to wonderland! I jusr can't beleive how well this tool works..... lots and lots of work and determination, but worth it for sure! Hugs! Jacqui 288/211.5/150?

Hello! Well, as of yesterday I had lost 78 pounds total (16 of those were lost pre-op). We started out similarly - I weighed 285, although I have gone done almost 15 BMI points (?), I'm still considered obese due to my height (I'm 5'1"). I too have not been doing too great with exercise. I joined a gym and am attending about twice a week. Although I feel great, I still need help getting in all my vitamins each day (yes, I know, very bad). Good luck getting to your goals - we are all in the same boat now that the weight loss is slowing. All I can say is that slow and steady will get me there. I am thankful that I have only had one stall (3 1/2 weeks!), and since then I continue to lose at about 2-3 pounds per week. So long as the scale is moving and the inches melting off I am happy. Take care, Selfi 285/269/207/130
