Had a tubaligation twenty....(for girls only)
Years ago and was wondering if anyone has any information on becoming pregnant after that length of time. Havent worried about birth control for so long and l like my new body. I am forty and loving it. I think I had a miscarriage this weekend but not sure, late period, spotting for three days, then all of a sudden pain, lots of clotting and then I passed something strange. After that I slowed down on the bleeding. Please let me know if you think it could of happened. Never had one before and it does not excite me that I could get pregnant. I am a mom of two adults and married twenty two years. Huggs to all!
Stacey, I agree with Lou Ann call your Gyn/OB that is not normal. I know my sister-in-law was told that her type of tubal litigation might have to be redone after so many years. She just has clamps blocking her tubes. When mine was done the doc cut 1/2 in of the tube away and cuaterized both ends. He told me this way was 99.9% effective.

I agree with the other ladies.
See your GYN. Your symthoms are not that odd for someone who might be in the pre-menopause stage, except for the passing of something strange part you wrote.
I have pain and clotting, and spotting, and all kinds of new events each month. I spot for a week, then have a period for another week. I am 10 days early 10 days lates, etc... The pain is like giving birth, but has been like this since I was 12 yrs old.
Althought I just went back onto the pill hoping to change some of that awful things, until I finish the menopause.

Another one in favor of seeing your OB/GYN asap! If this turns out to be just menstrual complications from weight loss, my doctor had suggested to me (for the same type of problem) a new rubber IUD that can totally eliminate your periods, as well as prevent any unwanted surprises!
Hope you get an answer soon!
Take care,
Cheri
