Hello everyone!!!

Hello I just wanted to say HI to everyone I have never posted on this board before (I just found it). I plan on hanging around here alot so I can see what others who had surgery same time as me are doing. I am down 76 lbs. and feeling great. I still have a hard time remembering that I am smaller now. I still think I weigh 269 lbs. when I do stuff but I guess that will go away with time. I will be around hope to get to know everyone a little and share stories. Kim

Hey, Kim... glad you found us! This is such a sweet, caring board -- you'll love it here -- I know, I do :D Congrats on your success!!! I hear ya, when you say you don't feel/see the size difference... but friends who are 3+ years out assure me that eventually (everyone is different) we will see it and feel it.

Hi Kim! Welcome to the board! Big Congratulations on your 76 lb. loss!! I know exactly how you feel, I started out on my surgery date January 10, 2005 at 261 pounds and sometimes forget that I actually weigh 198 currently. I haven't been this weight since May 17, 1992!
