You have done awesome. I was not really complaining, I was looking for people in similar cir****tances who might have a suggestion to break my plateau (sp???) I don't think that critcizing anyone on this message board is what they need, I thought that everyone was here to support each other thru. Becki

Hi Becky, I had surgery january 25th and I have lost 80 lbs. I haven't had any complications but I am struggling with my protein and water intake. I am taking in about the same as you are. I know I am improving as the days go by. Keep in mind, you have accomplished ALOT since January. Just think of the devastation of having to go BACK to the beginning, back to your 297 lbs. Focus on getting better, Focus on doing all you can do EVERY DAY, not what you can't do or didn't do. You are not failing. You can do this !!! Keep up the good work. Felicia

Hi Becki!! We are close in size and weight. COOL!! Surgery date is close too. I am so sorry you had all those complications. How scary!! I think you are doing so awesome!! The exercise thing is wonderful!! I know you think you should do more, but for obvious reasons can't. You are doing WAY more than me after an operation!! I didn't do very much for the 1st month as I was so tired and weak. I'd bet as you feel better you will up the protein and water and that weight will just drop off. Your body is probably just holding on thinking you are starving it. You'll get better and your intake will improve as you do. I am just on the verge of onderland too, and it's killing me how long it's taking. Maybe we'll get there on the same day!! LOL Hang in there girl, we're all behind you!! Thanks alot! Our stats are so similar, how cool is that! Thank you so much for your support it is awsome. The worst thing is the hanging to sooo close to the 100 lb loss mark and being sooo close to being under 200 lbs! I have been thinking that if I lose much more hair, that will take off the lbs to get me to those landmarks, it is almost a bad as when I had chemo. I lucky that I have thick hair or I would probably be bald by now. Thanks again and I hope that you get ther today! Becki
