I am a fews days past 4 mths post op. I have lost approx 70 bls. And in the last 10 days or so I have not been sleeping well anymore. I have never been a good sleeper but typically would sleep at least 3-4 hrs at a time. But lately I have been waking up about every 1-2 hrs nightly. And Boy am I exhausted! Maybe it is just a phase, I hope so. Becuase I was actually sleeping better after surgery there for a while. I hate to think it's going to get worse. Anyone else had this problem? I am waiting on my blood work results, could it be a vitamin issue? I hope to hear the results Monday. Kiva

Thanks Kate Ambien, I suppose it is not like the old type of sleeping pill that were additive. I never wanted to ask for anything due to never being able to fall alseep on my own. I'll speak to the doc about it. Thanks.

I am just about 4 months out as well and I am too starting to see trouble with failing asleep and staying asleep. It's only been for the last few weeks but it's making me tired too. I'm hoping it's just a phase as well. I'm taking the daily vitamins, b12, etc. Not sure what's up. Good luck and let me know if things get better for you.

I was never a good sleeper before surgery, but like you for a while things seemed better. Now I am lucky to sleep a few hours a night. I think it may be a vit. thing. Also it may be that we done't need as much sleep now because we are not fighting as hard to cart our bodies around. Lets face it, it is hard work caring all that extra weight. I hope that we both start to sleep better as our bodies get use to the new us.
