BULL! Every 10 lbs does not mean a dress size. Eveyone putts on and take of weight in a different way and we all know about the dang extra skin issues! My girlfriend and I have lost weight pretty much at the same rate lately and we weight about the same (she is doing Atkins) and we still wear different sizes however she started much heavier than I so she has tons of extra skin left over, she is in my old 16s and I am wearing 12/14s. And she is taller than me so theoretically she should be smaller but her extra skins keeps her from being smaller than I am. My extra skin is getting in the way of smaller sizes too but I wear compression garments a lot so it helps me to look better in clothes (especially the smaller sizes). Perhaps this person was thinking of sizes like in Eurpoean where they size down one leave at a time 22, 21, 20, 19, 18..... stuff like that. I was a 24, now a 12/14 so that would make it fairly close to their prediction. I definately don't think this is true, I am now 14/16 and weight 185lbs. I am 5-5'' and I started at 24/260. I think it depends on body mass, muscle mass, proportions, height etc. I'm trying not to get hung up on numbers. I find that even when I haven't dropped weight people are telling me I look thinner as things reposition themselves. I am just taking the blessings one at a time. Best, Carolyn
