I'm having a day today where I can't barely see straight, much less move about the house or get things done. I've had, so far, 66g of protein, 40oz of water, and a tad over 600 cals so far. I don't know, unless it's overdoing it yesterday bike riding. But, on some days when I don't exercise for a day or two, I still have my tired days... Anyone else still getting tired days, or are yall just about out of that part of the surgery where you are tired all the time? ~*~*~Beth~*~*~ 329.4/263/140 http://www.obesityhelp.com/morbidobesity/profile.phtml?N=H1077226915

I really haven't had any low energy days at all... Starting about two weeks after surgery I was great. Actually my energy level has only gone up. Are you getting enough B12? Last time I went for a check-up I talked about B12 (more indebth) with my surgeon. A symptom of a B12 definiency is low energy/feeling bad for no apparent reason. Hope that you feel better soon!!!! I do still get very tired at times and sometimes out of the blue have NO energy at all. Lately overall this has been better, but for a while there I blamed it totally on depression. Now, it is only when I overdo it, then the next day I feel exhausted all day. Other times I can go and go for several days without lack of energy. I am clueless as to why, sorry! It sounds like you are doing all the right things. I bet tomorrow will be much better! SueZ

Beth, I would have to say that most days I have alot of energy but there are days where I don't. Sometimes if I work out to much at the gym I am so tired when I get home and I am useless the rest of the day. I know that I don't have so many non-energy days now compared to what I had before surgery. I am definately alot more active now!! Okay I hope you have a great day!! Becky P.

I occasionally get tired and talked to my surgeon about this and he said that this will happen as I'm still recovering from a major surgery. Since I'm taking B-12 and iron everyday he isn't concerned about it. If you were tired everyday than there may be a reason to be somewhat concerned, but since it's once in awhile, than I wouldn't worry about it You may have just overdone it the day before. Deanna

I have been lucky and those kind of days are few and far between. However we were discussing this at our local support group meeting this morning! I am not sure if this will help you in any way but lots of the ladies here went and got evaluated by the chiropracter and discovered that their backs, necks and hips were all out of wack causing inflammation and such (body can't realign and compensate for the rapid weight loss n it's own) so once there got adjusted a few times their energy just spiked up and they started to feel a lot better. Matter of fact one lady had a hump in her back that she assumed was something dealing with her spine being curved when in fact is was actually a build up of toxins in her body, chirpracter and an accupuncturist and a massuse all worked together to break up that nasty stuff. Now she is hump free and energy full! Jamie
