Bruising

Is anyone else finding mysterious bruises on your body? It seems that since my surgery I find them randomly here and there but never have any explanation for them. I find them most frequently on my arms and legs but have had one or two on my lower abdomen. I asked my Doc and he said that I shouldn't worry about it because it is common in women my age (common that we would have the bruises but not remember getting them) (I'm 22). I asked if it could be due to an iron deficiency and he said that at the time I had not had time to have become deficient (and I am taking a multivitamin/multimineral suppliment). And it isn't that it hasn't happened before but it just seems to have been occurring a lot more since the surgery. Anybody else? Have a cause? Thanks! Jenny

Jenny, I to am finding more burises lately but in all honesty I was like this before surgery. I would bruise easily. I guess I am the same on this issue. Sorry this is happening to you!!! I am 34 now but I was probably around your age or so when I started bruising easily. I guess I need to ask my doctor on my next visit. Have a great day, Becky

Jenny, I have had these mysterious bruises, but just in the past month.(I am about 3 1/2 months out) I don't have an explanation, nor did my doctor. 2 weeks ago, I had three large ones on my forearm, and one on the inside of my wrist that was about 2 inches by 3 inches(looked horrible) Also, its taking its sweet time going away. So if you find out the reason for it, let me know. I'm in the dark~
