I can ride a horse!
I haven't actually ridden a horse yet (and don't know if I ever will), but found out today that I am below the weight limit for riding a horse at this summer camp our family is looking at. You can't be more than 225 pounds and I just got below that! I might feel more comfortable when I am below 200 pounds, but at least I know I wouldn't be turned away from riding a horse or worse yet, hurt the horse!

Hi SueZ
I just got back from a vacation in Sedona AZ. I actually rode a horse. I did not plan on it because I was rightat 302 lbs approx and I did not want to harm the animal either. But the owners of the trail ride were bound and determine to get me up on one. They told me the horse could easily take riders up to 365lbs. So I did it !!! They had to help me up onto it, but actually I had no harder time that most folks. The horse was very big and tall so unless you are really really fit most folks have to have a leg up to get up on them. It was fun and I am glad I did it. I am now under 300 lbs as of today, and I am glad about that too!!
Have fun at your camp.

I know I can't wait to go to my inlaws farm and ride again, it has been years since I have been on a horse!
