Back from Yankeeland!

Hi, all, I just got back from Bloomington, IN and watching my good friend Eva get her doctorate. I am very happy for her, but just a little sad because we started our doctorates on the same day and I never finished. But it was my choice, so.... Good news is that my friends up there who had not seen me in two years were wowed at my weight loss. That helped make up for the bittersweetness of the rest. Also, my babies were waiting at the airport with my hunny bunny and covered me with kisses and hugs, and shouts of " Happy Mother's Day".

I'm glad that you enjoyed yourself even though it was bittersweet. I know how that feels since it has taken me 10 years to get 3 classes away from my bachelors. In that time I have watched all of my friends graduate and go onto doctorate or masters programs... These days I cannot wait til my next reunion just so I can show off my new body!
