228lbs.....

I finally got on my home scale for the first time since surgery. I am at 228lbs and wearing a size 13/14. I am so proud. Trying to decide what I am going to do when I get to my goal weight about the sagging skin I am starting to have under my neck and the back of my knees.

Elaina, Way to go!!!!! I have skin issues as well and I am trying to put money to the side so that I can have plastic surgery once I have reached my goal weight. I am proud of you!!!! Becky P.

Way to loose girl! I am so happy for you! Yeah, the excess skin sucks major. I hate it when I can feel it float around when I am doing aquasize or when I am swimming. It is so nasty feeling! What I really hate is when I pantyhose and a skirt and my extra skins rubs together and gets all irratated. Now I have skin tags there and that REALLY HURTS when I try and wear panty hose! UGH! Pictures and document, so later I can have a thigh lift! LOL! Great news, Elaina! I can't wait to get down to a size 13/14! I know exactly what you mean about the sagging skin, it is awful for me too, and I haven't even lost 1/2 of my total excess weight yet. SueZ

Congrats! I am 5' 7 and weigh 218..and am into 16's....how tall are you and how did you fit into 13/14's? I want to shop at YOUR store! I keep tending to buy things that turn out to be too big because my eyes are so used to shopping for a bigger person...I think I am in denial about my shrinkage...maybe I should take heart and venture to the smaller racks of clothing as well! Oh Sher', that is what makes shopping so much harder now. I have found that I have to go with a willing friend because most places have these small little dressing room limits and when I have to take 2-3 sizes of each piece of clothing in with me, what am I suposed to do?! My hubby has been helpful too and he will swap out clothes for me in different sizes as long as I let him look at them on me first! He has learned how to be brutally honest on if something looks good or not, or if I can get away buying a "tighter" size and shrink into it later. Now that he has seen how much money is going to new clothes he is willing to help me so that I don't buy stuff I won't wear in a short time. The one thing that drives me crazy is that I thought I'd be happy wearing the same 6 outfits so that I could save on costs, but since I am in school and I volunteer I get tons of dirty looks when I recycle the same clothes over and over throughout the week. So I have been borrowing lots of stuff lately just to save on my sanity and shopping! Hehehe... Hi Jamie, I can relate..I can't stand wearing the same clothes all the time either...and people DO notice...I guess I did not really care when I was huge..but I care now...increased self esteem I guess! So far, I just thank God for Wal-mart...but it IS a whole new world! Sher'
