Everyone is doing so well! Isn't it wonderful? This is my first post. My surgery was January 10, 2005 and as of today I am down 73 lbs! I was initially 373 and now am at 300 - can't wait to see 299! I walk on the treadmill some but mostly have been doing strength training with smaller weights.

I had my 3 month check-up about a week ago. I'm 5' 6" tall, started at 288 and am now 226.... a loss of 62 pounds. I stalled for about a month and just started losing again, 7 pounds in the last two days!!! I am soooo excited! I walk a lot everyday and whenever I get a chance. Hope to start treadmill etc when the local Y gets up to speed!! I have lots of energy, sometimes still some bouts of depression from out of the blue, but much fewer than earlier in the journey. I still think this is a miracle! Hugs! Jacqui

Ok I've lost a total of 69lbs. My starting weight was 344. I am 5'7 So now my weight is 275lbs. I cant remember when the last time ,,,I saw 275

Started at 329.5, currently 247 for a loss of 82.5. I'm feeling pretty good most days. My knees feel much better, I can go up the stairs without getting winded. There's room on both sides of me when I'm in the tub and I'm down to a size 20/22 jeans depending on the style. Just got put on B12 pills once a week and continue with my Flintstones daily. I got taken off the Nexium, Carafat and the Lisinopril. Only have the inhaler left and that got cut in half and may be gone in 2 months. I still can't eat much meat so the protien is mostly from other things and Isopure drinks. As far as exercise, I get most of it at work with my departments going from the front of the shop all the way to the back, a quarter of a mile away. Just saying hi in the mornings I get more than a half mile of walking in. I wish I would have done this 2 years ago when I first considered it. Pat

Hey January Babies!!!!!! I haven't posted in awhile, at 3 mos I am down 48 lbs, I started at 331 lbs my goal is 175 at 5'10" I even worked out 3 times this week and it usually its only twice a week. Again Congrats to all of us. Have a Great Mother's Day Stephanie
