POLL: 3 month checkup
Hi! I had my lap rny on January 10, 2005 which makes me almost 4 mos. post op. I am 5' feet tall and weighed in at 261 lbs. on my surgery date.
To date I currently weigh 210 lbs.
I use my treadmill almost everyday or every other day for about 30+ min.
This surgery is one of the best things I've ever done for myself.
I haven't had my 3 month checkup yet because my surgeon comes in from San Francisco. I'm expecting to see him sometime this month when he comes back to Hawaii to perform more WLS.
Aloha and congratulations! Pat
I started at 304 and now weigh 240. I am 5"7". I exercise every day for two hours (yoga, pilates, weights, cycling). I can eat anything except red meat. Mostly, I eat fish, cheese, yogurt, and veggies like tomatoes, asparagus, green beans, and spinach. I am no longer diabetic and have a LOT of energy. I wore a size 28(tight) before WLS. Now I wear an 18/20.
YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!
Hi All,
CONGRATULIONS TO EVERYONE ON THEIR WEIGHTLOSS!!!!! LETS ALL KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK..
I am 5'8" started at 269lbs, as of this morning I am down to 211 for a total loss of 58 lbs. Not exercising as much as i should. I bought an exercise bike this week, so hopefully that will help.

My starting weight was 276 and I'm down to 193 thats an 83# loss. I'm 5'7'' and would like to be at 175 by July 1st (hubby comes home).
I work out 4 to 5 times a week at the gym. I do cardio everyday that i'm at the gym and weights 2 to 3 times a week. My labs came back good also. Thank goodness for WLS.

Hey Beth, if you are concerned about having blood work done and want to monitor it, you might want to ask your primary care physician to order some blood work. My surgeon only had me do bloodwork once since surgery, but my primary care physician sees me for followup for my diabetes and other health issues and has ordered blood work every month. I just take the lab results to my surgeon when I go for surgery followups.
