I will be 4 months out on the 5th and am wondering if i am on track with my weight loss. I am down 75 lbs. I only saw my surgeon at a three week post op appt. and dont see him again till six months post op. Kinda wi**** was sooner, but that's how they want it. I always feel as though i am eating all wrong or eating too much. Anyone else feel this way? Just thought i'd see if i am doing it right. Thanks for all your help. Hugs 346/271/170

Wow I think you are doing great. I had my surgery 7 days after you and I am down 65 so I think your on track, because I hope I am . Are you working out? Do you get your protien in? Those are the things to worry about. We all lose differently. Way to go you are doing great. Jenn

I think that is great! At my 3 month i was -41. I seem to do about 8-10 per month. So I am slower than you. (don't think I will lose over 30 this month :>) to catch up. Be happy that is so great. HUGS Mary RNY 1/17/05 (Lap then open 2nd emergency surgery) 218/175/115

Seems to me that you are well on track. If it makes you that nurvous why not make an appt with a nutritionist and bring your diet log and see what they say! Congrats on your weight loss I think your doing great. I try to eat high protein low fat, low carbs and dont eat anything with more then 3g of sugar per serving. I think its been working well. I have never been sick do to surgery or from what I've eaten.(my son and I had a touch of thestomach bug yesterday). I do go to the gym 4-5 days a week and take my vitamins daily. I have lost 67 sence surgery and 81 total. I think my weight loss has slowed down but I'm ok where I'm at and with what my body is doing. Keep up the good work your doing great Stephanie

Hi Stacie, We had the same surgery date and though we had different surgeries, our loss is almost the same - I have lost 73 pounds so far. I am pretty certain that we are both doing really well! LOL It is really hard to compare foods because we have different needs, but I too feel like there are times when I must be eating too much; then again, maybe we should just let the scale do the talking? LOL Congratulations, you are doing great, Anne
