What did YOU eat today??

Hello fellow Januarians, I've been horrible today. Mainly because I have been up all night the past couple of nights studying for my finals, etc. I've also been overloading on popcorn (carbs) an that makes me hungrier... ANYHOO... Here's what I've had today (guesstimates at the most part): B-1/4c grits/eggbeaters/cheese mixed S-2 strawberries L-Lean Cuisine Cafe Bowl Beef Teriyaki (huge chunks of meat) ate the meat and few veggies, some noodles (approx. 1/2c) S-more strawberries dipped in Carb Options Yogurt (didn't eat a container of yogurt, just dipped) S-5 eraser-heads of porkchop drenched in worsterchire (dryness) D-gonna try to have tuna. Haven't been able to eat this (due to taste change) makes me gag, so I'm boiling an egg to put in it, sorta like make it into tuna salad... H2O approx. 64oz or more (tea & sf koolaid) I've probably had MORE than I should, but I'm not going to beat myself up about it (any more than I've already done) because I was hungry, I ate, and tomorrow is a new day. Besides, I have a "visitor" and hoping she'll leave soon... ugh PMS Oh yeah, I also ate 1/2c popcorn (zesty) couldn't resist... Beth

Hi Beth, My visitor is coming too so I want to snack more and I sure try to control it. B- Protein Shake S- South Beach protein bar L- Smart Ones - Low carb version - roast beef and veggies. Ate the beef and most of the veggies. S- String Cheese & 2 pieces of watermelon D- 2 oz of grilled cod, handful of salad (romaine lettuce & chopped cucumber with a tsp of ranch dressing, 1/2 slice of whole wheat bread. 80 oz water

This is what I had for today. B- 1 egg with salsa L- 1/4 C. salad w/ 1 slice turkey & 1 slice cheese & low fat ranch S-1/2 South Beach meal bar, cinnamon and creme, my favorite D- Tuna w/ low fat mayo on sugar free whole wheat bread toasted 48 oz water 16 oz propel I think I need to do better on my protein tomorrow. O.K., today was hectic. My choir is preparing to go on tour Friday so much last minute business and rehearsal polishing. I worked out BIG today. B- medicine, vitamins, V8 juice L- 6 oz. seafood salad(crab meat, baby shrimp, and fat free mayo) on crackers (4) Took two hours to finish. D- 2 oz. perch with dill cream sauce and green beans s- string cheese and trisquits (2) Lots of water- at least 32 oz. today My visitor is due also, but I am also beginning menopause. So who knows when Aunt "Flo" will show, or how long she will stay. She has changed since my surgery. She is MUCH heavier. And she "flashes" me. She also brings out the in me. I 've got PMS,Menopause, dumping, and a weapon. Look out!!!LOL

Hi Beth! I haven't really been very hungry but this is what I've eaten so far. B - none L - 8 small boiled shrimp and 1 string cheese D - Not sure yet Took my vitamins, supplements and Actigall which prevents problems with your gallbladder. So far, drank one of my protein shakes, I still have to drink the second one. The two shakes total 70 grams of protein. I have also drank up to this point 6:43 pm, 93 ounces of water. I was so darn busy yesterday that I did not eat really much of anything. I did get in my protein and calories though... mostly through supplements. Yeah, I know... bad girl... and boring... but when you don't even have time to pee.... what are you supposed to do? LOL! I had a new premixed protein smoothie from GNC for breakfast, I had some turkey and veggies for lunch, went out for mexican (half a chicken taco, half of a quesadilla), and then finished the night with a ISOPURE mixed drink. Thankfully drinking was not a problem yesterday, it is all I had time for! Well since dinner last night, I've had kinda a grouchy pouchy... I'll guess I'll have to skip the crab for a while LND: 2 bites crab, 1 bite baked potato, 2 bites salad Morning snack: Starbucks mocha B: Half of a half Nancy's spinach quiche, 1 tb sour cream L: None D: popcorn shrimp and cottage cheese Fruit2o new flavor - apple - yummmmmmmy!
