The dirt, the trails, the fun!!!
Oh, my goodness... I just had to share my wonderful Family & Friends Sunday. Yesterday we all went to the local ORV (off-road vehicles) preserve and had a BLAST!!! I didn't ride the dirtbikes, even though I ride a street bike, but I did ride the quads -- what a THRILL!!!! I would have never done this 53 pounds ago - never! We hauled the RV out there, set up camp, and spent 11 hours in the "dust" having a ball!
Okay, so what did you do differently this weekend that you wouldn't have done prior to WLS?!? I see where our Jamie went and played paintball -- BRAVO, Girl!!!!

Wendy,
I rode bike with my 11 year old son. I also helped my parents wash (scrub) their boat and I washed my dad's truck for him. I had so much energy yesterday. I could not believe it. I cannot wait for next weekend to see what kind of trouble I can get into.
I have never ridden a dirt bike, motorcycle or quad but I think the quad sounds like fun. My husband wants a motorcycle and I was always against it now I think it would be fun to cruise around on the back.
This losing thing sure is fun!!

I tried something different, too. I painted a church. I climbed up on a ladder and crawled around on a roof for 6 hours. I had so much energy that the workers were asking me to slow down and take a break. I loved it. Especially the next day, when everyone admired the church during services. This weekend I am going to Fiesta Texas Amusement park.
Then in June we are going white water rafting on the Guadelupe River and camping for 5 days!! I couldn't camp anymore before WLS because I couldn't sit on the ground, sleep on the ground, or walk very far.
NOW, I am looking forward to tubing the river and getting a little sun.
Life is great!
This weekend I am heading camping and hiking! Not to mention we will be at a huge festival so I will (for the first time) plan on getting my fat butt off my comfy chair and dance around the fire and drum all night long! Usually I just sit and drum and watch the dancers... not this time... I am forcing hubby to join me too! LOL!
Packing my sarongs and drums.... Jamie
