I bought a bathing suit!!!

I bought a new bathing suit today because my husband suggested it. In his words "Your old one is a bag and doesn't hold up your tits. You need something to show off your new waist and boobs." My husband has NEVER shown the least bit of interest in what I wear. You know the type. I say "Honey, how does this look?" and he says "uh, huh,...mmm...fine" So it was a real shocker when I found myself in the Dept. store with him "selecting" swimsuits for me to try. Usually, when I try on clothes, he heads for the deli or the electronics dept.. Now, I was trying on suits and he was passing them to the salesgirl faster than I could try them. And he insisted I model them for him. WAZZUP with this man?!!!! He finally "approved" a tropical blue and green print with a sarong skirt. It looks great (still too much tummy for my taste), but it cost $$$. This man has lost it, gone crazy, his choo choo has jumped the tracks. Now he wants to go to Mexico for a vacation in June. I said" Only if my tummy is a decent size by then!" and he said " What!!! You have HALF the tummy you had before and your legs and butt are great!!" Well, I liked hearing that, but I still feel so self concious about the tummy. I DO want to go to Mexico, though. Hmmm....MORE SIT UPS!!!!!

Hey thats great. I bet it was nice to have him show interest. And hey I just got back from Mexico and I did not feel self concious, there were women of every size there and no one seemed to judge. Jenn

Lou Ann, how wonderfull that is for you I think you should take your husband up on a trip to Mexico you deserve it! You have worked hard for that new body and it sounds like your husband wants to show you off. Let him and enjoy yourself at the same time. Best wishes Anne B

Girl, if you don't take up hubby on that trip to Mexico then I am going! LOL! Shoot, by June you will be down so much more weight! I read your story to my hubby and he cracked up non-stop. LOL! He has had the same reaction when it comes to my clothing. Now he actually enjoys going with me to choice an opinion. Hubby has always enjoyed shopping waayyyy more than me but once he saw how depressed I would get shopping he stopped asking to go. Now he is on cloud nine again! LOL! I know what you mean about Frederick's of Hollywood and Victoria's Secret. My husband passed me the catalog for VC and said " page 4, 6 months!!" and winked and grabbed my butt. BTW, page 4 was an outragious gold teddie. WooHoo!!
