I did my first closet clean today. Oh my goodness it is great to get rid of this stuff. I am purging my closte of a ton of stuff. And I found some clothes I had grown out of in there, that now fit, its like a whole new wardrobe. Now I am going to have to give a bunch of stuff away. What did you all do with your to big items? I know you can trade them on here, has anyone tried that? Jenn

I just listed a few suits and 5 dresses on e-bay. I will probably donate some stuff, but I thought I would try and get some money for a few things so I can purchase new smaller clothes. Isn't it wonderful!

Doesn't it just feel great?! What I did is any clothes that are well worn or kind of on the older side (but still in good condition) I gave away at my local WLS meetings. The stuff that I have outgrown already but are only a few weeks to months old. I am gonna try and sell them at my yard sale on May 7th. Of course as with everything else I am selling that day, anythign NOT sold after two days is getting donated to various charities. (Mine and hubby's clothes will got to the other WLS support groups in the area.) I have found very few people to "trade with" locally just because of my tastes and b/c our local post-ops are REALLY post op and have already traded away their clothes...LOL! Jamie

Jenn: There is a place on this site where you can list clothes. I am sure that some people need clothes. I really need sizes 18/20s for the summer. I listed a few items on here and they went fast. For the nicer, more professional items, I put those on ebay. Ms. Sassy

I looked at the listed items on here, my problem is I wore a very large size pre op (36,38) and I think most people will not need those sizes. I am down to a 28 now so those will surely be easier to find a home for when I get to small for them. Jenn
