Poll: How much weight have you lost?
I have lost 47 lbs since surgery and 75 all together. (I had to lose 28 b4 surgery.)
Starting Weight Was 289
Today's Weight is 214
I think I was wearing around a 24 to 22 when I started
Now I can wear size 16 regular, no more plus for me. I am 5'7"
For exercise I do water aerobics 3 days a week and walk 3 miles with that.
I am not real sure how many calories I take in a day. I know my protein intake is up over 100 though. I am all about high protein and low carb. I eat 3 meals a day, with no snacking. When I eat, I eat till I'm full, then stop, don't count calories at all. I drink in between and have had no problems with any foods or drinks.

I have lost 37 lbs since surgery. 47 altogether.
Starting weight: 315 Weight today: 268
Size 4x top, 3x bottom, now wearing 3x top, 2x bottoms, but I have ordered couple of tops in size 2x for spring(hoping to wear by end of May!
I use treadmill 20 minutes a day(slow speed-pacemaker causes problems with elevated heart rate)
Caloric intake: 700-900 calories. (protein powder takes up 200 of those-ugh)
Protein-80 grams minimum
water-80 oz daily
Don't hate me, but I can eat anything! I haven't eaten sweets, potatoes, rice, pasta, or anything high in carbs. I crave diet soda. Not that I want to throw up, but maybe I'd lose more weight!!!!!!

What was your starting weight? 302 officially, but with 3+ weeks in the hospital after surgery on nothing but TPN and a PICC line (3,000/k day) I gained 8lbs.
What was your starting dress size and what is your size now? 26/28 tight - now 22 pants, 18/20 top from LB or 16/18 from Sears
How much/often do you exercise? 4-5xs week on the treadmill 30-45 minutes at 2.5mph, incline of 2
How many calories, protein, carbs do you ingest daily? I get around 50-60 proteins, carbs around 50, calories range from 500-700.
I, too, agree -- this surgery has given me my life back -- and it's a GREAT DAY TO BE ALIVE!!!!

How much/often do you exercise? I really don't, I know I need to - things are getting flabby! I just need to commit.
How many calories, protein, carbs do you ingest daily? Less than 500 cals on most days. Can't seem to eat anymore - not that I can't - I just don't have the desire to eat. I try to keep my protein up to atleast 40 grams. With low food intake it is hard. I have had to add back in a Diet Carnation Instant Breakfast to ensure I am getting enough of everything. Carbs I don't monitor because I don't eat breads, pasta, etc but once every two weeks or so and then it is minimal at best. One bite usually does it for me. Nothing tastes good - but I find that is good - because FOOD does not rule my life anymore!!!!!
I take two to four multivitamins a day, 2 caltrate 600+D, 1 Cranberry supplement, 1000 mcg Vitamin B12 and sometime 2 to 3 TUMS/day. Oh and Iron - I hate Iron - it does really bad things to bowel movements!

65 pounds total. 40 since surgery and 25 during my required year of physician-supervised weight loss
What was your starting weight?
280 was my highest weight. 255 pounds the day of surgery. (I'm 5'8")
What was your starting dress size and what is your size now?
24/3X tops and size 26 pants. Right now I am wearing size 20 tops and 22/24 pants. I've lost 41.5 inches from all over but even though I've lost 5 inches each from the waist & hips, I have a really large panni so it's preventing me from getting into smaller size pants. My butt & thighs have gotten so much smaller that these areas of my pants are so baggy, but the waist is another matter (sigh)
How much/often do you exercise?
Walk 2 miles a day 4-5 days a week. I will start a water aerobics class in June and have just added strength training with resistance bands 3 days a week. (After reading some of your posts I feel like a slug when it comes to exercise!)
How many calories, protein, carbs do you ingest daily?
Average between 700-800 cals, with 80+ grams protein and usually 50-60 carbs (mainly coming from yogurt, skim milk & occassional protein bars)

Starting pants size (sorry don't wear dresses much)-28 and going out to get some size 20's so I can go to a conference next week (these people haven't seen me in 6 months and most don't have a clue, I can't wait)
Excercise-Our shop is 1/4 mile from front to back and my departments run the entire length so I get a lot of walking in throughout the day. On a slow day, probably 1.5~2 miles. On a day with lots of problems it could be as high as 4~5. The good news is though, I don't get winded halfway back and I love that.
Calories-around 800, 60~80 grams of protien. I can't eat much meat yet so most of it is in Isopure but I eat cheese, refried beans and eggs. I try to stay away from the carbs completely.

My weightloss is so slow!! After surgery I was taking a blood pressure med(verapamil) that I believe was slowing my loss, because after I started taking it I gained about 25 lbs in two months. Anyway doc changed me to norvasc and the weight loss picked up.

I was exercising at the gym 3/4 times weekly/weight resistance machines and 20/30 min treadmill. Havent been to gym in 2 weeks due to babysitting, but will start again soon, I promise!!!
I usually eat under 800 calories daily, 60+ grams protein, still drinkling at least 1-2 p shakes daily,centrum multivitamin,calcium citrate,superB comlex vitamin, hair, skin and nail vitamin
My hair even though I've been taking biotin before wls has started shedding and thinning awfully bad. I was so frustrated and depressed yesterday that I went out and bought me a wig. Hopefully the thinning will stop soon and my hair will grow back before the summer is over.
I have almost no clothes that fit. I gave most of my bras away and have maybe 2/3 good ones left. Dont want to buy any right now. Shoes are getting too big and all jeans are too big , but luckily I have plenty smaller ones.
My first goal is to reach 200 lbs by the end of July!!!!
