Has anyone had this problem, I can eat most beef with no problem. However, if I eat ground beef I get very ill? Whats up with that? Jenn

My doctor said: 1. Ground beef has more microbial germs mixed into it that do not get killed by cooking unless very well done through and through. Even a small amount of E coli can cause nausea and/or diahrrea. 2. Well cooked ground beef is harder to digest. So, I avoid ground beef and stick with single cuts of tender meat or fish. I have found that I can eat meat loaf if I wait between bites a long while and drink NOTHING for an hour after. Hope this helps. Lou Ann

Every time I have tried ground beef I have I asked and was told that it may be one of those things that my pouch might be sensitive to for awhile. I find I can eat it in chili and in spagettii sauce as long as it is very small and has cooked for a long time, otherwise it is city and I feel terrible for about 2 hours. I'm glad I am not the only one having this trouble. Coni P.
