Thanks Peggy. I'm glad to know I'm not the only one who can eat anything! I did try fitday.com, but it seems so complicated to me. I am thinking about having my husband show me how to use it better, so I can get the most out of it. Sue

Per my surgeon, 4 oz by volume not weight. 4 oz is also half a cup...so either way. I always measure and usually fini**** all but I measure to keep myself in check. I haven't dumped but then again I am following my doc's orders to a t. I hope this helps. Christie

Hi Sue, I'm in Minnesota and my program as some good food guidelines that I have been following. Here are the amounts of food they suggest per meal. 1-3 months from surgery........1/4 c or 2 oz. 4-5 months from surgery........1/3 c 6-8 months from surgery........1/2 c 9-11 months from surgery.......3/4 c 12 months and forever............1 c In addition, 3 meals a day, no snacks, no liquid 30 minutes before or 30 minutes after meal, 24 oz skim milk per day (for protein) and 40 oz water per day. I have never dumped or thrown up and the dietician says it is because I have been following the program to a "T". I'm not hungry and I don't feel full either. I hope I get the full feeling back sometime, and unfortunately the hunger feeling will probably come back eventually too. The dietician says I shouldn't feel hungry until about 6 months. I know some say this program doesn't provide enough calories or protein. But it's the doctors program I was giving and therefore I'm following it. I had my surgery on Jan 28 and am down 59 lbs since then. I hope this helps. Best wishes to you.
