I just had lap band surgery on Tuesday (4 days ago) and I'm looking for support. I'm starting to second guess myself if I did the right thing. Surgery went well, and I came home the next day with only discomfort, no real pain. Since I've been home, however, I have had constant indigestion..feel like I have to burp, but nothing is coming up. This liquid diet is starting to get to me already....I want something to eat!! Help....I need to know there's a light at the end of the tunnel.

Peggy, There is a light at the end of the tunnel.........and it's an oncoming train!!!! LOL. Seriously, the liquid diet gets to everyone. I know I was on it only a week, but I remember craving crackers!! Anything that was crunchy! Soon, you will be eating again and losing big. BUT,......the fastest loss is NOW...while you are on liquids. So,.........walk,walk,walk, and force those protein shakes. Everyday your energy levels will improve and soon you will see the inches disappearing. My son, age 5, tells people who notice the weight loss "My mommie's shrinking". Today, at three months plus, I have lost 45 lbs. and two sizes. Soon, so will you!!!

Thanks Lou Ann. I do feel better today. Guess I'm just not very patient. Go to the drs tomorrow, so hopefully, I can move on to week 2 of food.....the bright side is I already lost 10lbs!....a miracle for me!!
