Wow, I can't believe I am 2 months post-op today! I haven't been around the board much lately, hope everyone is doing well. I'm down 47lbs, dont have a problem eating to many foods. Still struggle w/the protein & water intake, but I'm still trying. Going to join the gym w/my next paycheck. Clothes are getting bigger, but where's the button to control where we lose the weight I'm losing more on top, then I am in the butt & stomach Well, summer is around the corner & I'm looking forward to an eventful one! Beach, Great Adventure, Mountain Creek..HERE I COME!

Congratulations! I'm a week behind you, not doing so good, but have lost 30 lbs (and another 10 before surgery) since surgery. I finally dropped some this week after being in a 2+ week plateau. It's nice to see the clothes getting looser and not tighter isn't it!!!!!!!!!!! I'm losing more on top too and believe me, I don't need to! Do they make a size 44 A bra !!!!! Continued good luck Dianne

It is my 2 month post op anniversary today, too. I have lost 40 lbs. But I lose it on the bottom. Everybody tells me "Where's your butt?!!!" or "Wow, your legs look great!". But my tummy and bust are still too big. I think I have an inverted pear shape. Still, I can eat o.k. Today I went to a Mexican Bingo and ate half a hotdog, a handfull of popcorn, and a delicious Raspa. I am looking forward to whitewater rafting, camping, scuba diving, and belly dancing!

Hi Amie! I am also a little over 2 months post op. I had my lap rny on January 10th. Congratulations! You are doing great with your weight loss! So far I have lost 44 pounds. I agree with you, I can tell that I've lost on the bottom, but there seems to still be a lot there! Well, I guess we can't be too impatient. Afterall, 2 months is not very much time. Have a great summer and keep up the good work!!!!! Aloha, Pat

Feels Fantastic doesnt it???? You should be so proud and I hope your self esteem is growing as your weight is dropping.I had my surgery Jan 26 th 2005,have lost 45 lbs and my life is changing for the better.Three diabetes meds with elevated glucose in the beginning, now am taking 1/2 of one pill only.It feels great to now be heading towards good health instead of adding on new pills every month. Keep up the great work---treat yourself to something nice---new earrings, pedicure ect. to show yourself that you are worth it.Bless you,Liz(2mos2)

We are on the same track girl! Surgeries on the same day and have lost about the same amount. LOL! Small world huh?! Well keep up the great work and once you get in some good exercise your bottom half should catch up with your top half. I too lost most my weight up top but since I started an exercise regiment my bottom half started to catch up! GOOD LUCK!
