Can't wait for the Sun
It is nine weeks and I am 38 lbs down. I feel good but I am still having trouble with solid foods. Red meat of any kind is out of the question. Chichken I can tolerate about three bits and I am done. Fish seems to be okay as long as it is hot and very soft. Tuna Fish in the can forget it. I am looking forward for this winter weather to be over maybe I will feel better. I am looking forward to geting out and walking on the boardwalk. I love the Ocean. Oh and Slim Fast shakes gross I have been having Mex Rex shakes once a week perhaps I need to have them more than once a week. I can barely finish one as is. Any suggestions.
Thanks for everything
Jillian
What a terrible trick Nature played on us earlier this week...weather in the 60's one day and arctic winds and snow the next :p
I just want to go outside and smell green grass again, look at blossoms in the trees and take a stroll at the shore on a breezy day *sigh*
Now that I Can do these things..I can hardly wait to experience them :D
Keep thinkin' warm thoughts!
IT IS SNOWING AGAIN!!!!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!
Sometime I really hate living in the middle of the country! At least when I was in Michigan you knew how the weather would be! Here it is in TN/KY and the buttercups have already sprung but now it is SNOWING! UGH!!!!
OK, now that I have that out of my system. Onto the suggestions....
1. Go to the food/cooking boards... lots of great ideas there!
2. My nutritionist says that I probably will not be able to digest red meats until I am almost 6 months out! So far I have tried ground beef once or twice and it has made me sick.... so I am white meating and fishing it! LOL! I LOVE seafood, lamb, chicken and turkey!
3. If the weather is too cold to get out and exercise, get creative in the home. Use canned foods for "weights" and try mimicing weight lifting techniques, like bicept curls, squats, etc... A chair makes a great support for all sorts of stretching and exercises like "dips", squats, etc... Milk jugs also make great "heavier weights"... you can even tie two to a broom and use it to do bench presses and sqwats!
OK, my spelling is getting really bad and I have to go pick my son up from school... but hopefully that gives you a bit of an idea on what to do.
OH- there are LOTS of great low carb cook books out there that have really high protein recipes in it! YUM!
Brightest Blessings for a Wonderful Day~

WELL, it was sunny here yesterday. The Temp. in Cal hit 88. Today it is cold, foggy & overcast. Thats spring here.
Have you tried mixing a little fat free mayo in your tuna? I like the tuna/salmon in a pouch better than the canned. I also use the crock pot to slow cook my meat. That way it is very tender. I have also started to add a few crackers a day (low salt/fat) to my diet, still eating little vegies, carbs, & almpst no fats.
Hope this helps. We xan be loosers together.
